We will never ask you for money. We do not charge Artists fees for a contract like most indie labels do.
Most so-called indie labels today actually make their money by charging fees not by selling records. They prey on the hopes and dreams of the aspiring artist.
We only make money from the sale of albums.
If we think that you have a marketable product, then we will enter into a partnership with you to sell that product. We will not make any money until you do.
As per the above statements. We CANNOT make any money until we produce a viable product to sell. Very simple.
It can take several weeks or even months to get funding.
Proposals and contracts have to be negotiated. The corporate world moves at it’s own pace for its own reasons. We are at the mercy of the environment. Many sponsors like to issue new sponsorships after the start of the fiscal year. Promoting a single to the charts can cost many of thousands of dollars. If we have to wait, then we wait
We do not sign the artist but rather we license the rights to the master tracks and CD product derived from it. The artist remains free to enter into other professional relationships as long as it does not infringe on our rights to the licensed project.
We DO NOT attach your rights to the individual songs. All ownership, copyrights, performance rights and royalties remain property of the artist.
We will not involve ourselves in your private property rights. All of your songs will remain your exclusive property.
